Day to day life causes tremendous stress on our bodies.
Tension occurs from psychological and emotional stress just as much, if not more than, physical tension. This tension creates knots, stiffness, pain, and blockages in our body. Over time, these can even lead to injuries and tissue degeneration.
Massage involves physically soothing the tissues to break up the knots and tension.
Healing energy is transferred to the tissues and muscles. This will allow energy to properly flow through the body again, giving us a sense of freshness.
All too often, people resist the release of tension when getting their massage. For many reasons, usually subconscious, we cling to the stress that is weakening our body. Unfortunately, many therapists don’t address this crucial component, and continue to press on the tissues while the client further
tightens up. This is especially common in those with PTSD and Fibromyalgia.
My knowledge of the needs of those with Fibromyalgia, PTSD, and similar circumstances can be utilized on anyone because all of our bodies need special attention.
Your body works round the clock for you….give it the attention it deserves!
